Arco's New Website Provides Improved Ordering for Customers

Arco, the UK's leading supplier of personal protective equipment and work place safety products, has launched its brand new website with improved search facilities, a new thumbnail browse facility and faster, more efficient navigation.

The aim of the new site is to make online buying from Arco as user-friendly as possible. Ordering product is now a quick and simple process as Arco has harnessed powerful new technology.
A report from Price Waterhouse Coopers published in June 2007 entitled "The Internet: this time it's for real" states that according to latest estimates, online sales for 2007 will be around £14 billion. This would represent a 28% growth for the last year alone and all the indications point to double-digit growth in years to come.
Customers can take advantage of a real time price and stock check providing exact information at the time of ordering. Purchasing lists are a variation of online 'favourites', allowing customers to quickly add multiple items to their shopping basket and organise products that need to be ordered on a regular basis.
Another feature is the Arco Requisition Manager, which is a powerful and flexible tool to control purchasing within an organisation It allows customers to apply workflows to the order process and set a limit on spending.
The catalogue viewer is just as easy as shopping online with a major high street retailer. The drop down menu means that users can select the category of product they would like to view and with one click the pages of the catalogue are on the screen. Once on the page, click on the product and up pops the detail; select the colour and size and put it in the shopping basket. Online shopping at Arco has never been so easy.
