There to Take the Challenge!
First opening its doors for business in 1997 and currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, Crewmint is a specialist vegetable and fruit preparation company, processing fresh ingredients for producers across the UK and Ireland. What's more, it is passionate about its work and loves a challenge!

An expert at recommending, sourcing and preparing general and specialist vegetables and fruits for the food processing market, Crewmint customers come from all parts of the food product sector, but have one thing in common - they can't afford to compromise when it comes to quality.

The company is particularly renowned for the production of citrus ingredients, namely lemon, lime, grapefruit and orange. The citrus can be provided to a variety of specifications upon request. The majority of the citrus products are used in the manufacture of candied peel for use as decorations e.g. for cakes and patisseries, and for use in preserves such as marmalade.

Crewmint has also been successful in obtaining organic accreditation for producing sliced and diced fruit and vegetables. Certification was granted by the Organic Farmers and Growers certification body, enabling the company to readily supply customers from the niche organic food manufacturing sector. Examples of the range of uses for the organic ingredients include incorporation into ready meals in leading supermarkets and as decorative features on cakes and patisseries.
