gaining strength from positive turnover

Prescott-Thomas Limited is now in their 7th successive
year with turnover going from 3million to 9million in a very
short period.

The company was originally R.A Prescott but Peter Thomas the present owner didn't want to dissolve the name of Prescott as they were an old established company who were in the business for over 100years, so he kept the name Prescott and added his own name hence "Prescott-Thomas".

He puts his success down to head hunting good quality players who he knows will produce the goods on the day "everyday".

Peter is a very dedicated business man who realises that complacency is your biggest enemy and the moment you take your finger off the button is when competitors start to get too close and take advantage.
Prescott-Thomas is very quality conscious and realise the standards that their customer base require. They have a vast customer base ranging from local schools, selective private schools, hospitals (Private and NHS), pub chains, restaurants and 5star hotels including some very prestigious clientele.
Peter believes that if you put enough efforts into something and be prepared to go that extra mile, you will automatically breed success, he says that this is the only way he knows and he likes to think that all his staff, all 95 of them, have picked up on his enthusiasm.
Prescott-Thomas sells a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen produce and dairy goods, and they have just recently branched into the organic market which Peter feels is now here to stay.
Because of the experience of the staff that Prescott-Thomas have on board they all realise the importance of customer relations, and our telesales staff are "second to none" regarding dealing with queries, orders or any problems a customer might have.
Peter Thomas and his company achieved the accreditation of a "BRC Higher Level" certificate when he first took over the company and has maintained that status which is a tremendous achievement in the fresh produce industry.
Although Peter is a believer in consolidation in the business he realises that you have to keep going forward to be able to stand still, and he would also like to add how very important "Spitafields Market" has been in the continued success of Prescott-Thomas Ltd and is eternally grateful for the support that the market has given him over the last 30years.
He would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody once again as he takes the business to another level as Peter freely admits he could never have achieved what he has done without the full support of the market and everybody in it.
