He had previously been Vice President - Retail Solutions for the Eastern USA since 2005.
Ray began his career with Ingersoll Rand in 1989 when he graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He started out as an engineer in the US in the Industrial Technologies Sector and held roles of increasing importance in sales, sales leadership and global product management. Ray moved to Ingersoll Rand's Climate Control Sector in 2000 where he was appointed initially as a Business Development Manager, then as Head of Marketing for the Americas. Brands that fall under the umbrella of Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies include Thermo King, and Hussmann.
In his new role, based in Diegem, Belgium, Ray plans to grow the business and increase market share and presence of Koxka, Ingersoll Rand's Retail Solutions brand in Europe He said: "My first impressions are that we have an outstanding team here who have built incredibly strong relationships with their customers and who are focused on expanding our Retail business throughout the region."
