| Established in 1982 as Pierre
Bruno Co., it was initially set up as an agency
for the French manufacturers Soleco, producers
of pre-washed, ready-to-eat salads, and Isigny
Ste Mère, a co-operative in Normandy
producing AOC (Appellation d'Origine Controlée)
dairy products. The company was renamed Répertoire
Culinaire in 1992, when it moved to a new
purpose-built warehouse in East London and
dramatically developed the business by introducing
new product ranges, including San Amvrosia's
fresh dips, pasteurised eggs, condiments and
blinis.
Offering the finest in chilled, ambient and
frozen products from all over Europe, but
principally France, Italy, Greece and Belgium,
Répertoire Culinaire is today a leading
supplier and a partner to high profile restaurateurs
- who represent around 75% of the company’s
turnover - and prestigious retailers. The
latter includes independent delicatessens
and food halls in London's most prestigious
department stores.
Répertoire Culinaire’s aim is
to offer its customers the best quality in
terms of products and service. It achieves
this by constantly sourcing traditional, but
also original, products, as well as by providing
an ever-evolving, customer-orientated service.
From foie gras to continental charcuterie,
from AOC dairy products to ready-to-use salads,
freshly made traditional dips and made-to-order
premium sausages, Repertoire Culinaire offers
a vast range of that has been selected for
both retail and catering needs.
