Ilapak has launched a new electronic flow-wrapper. The versatile, inverted Carrera 1000 PCR offers a cost-effective packaging solution for unsupported products such as tortillas, kiwi fruits and avocadoes and is one of the most competitively priced, fully electronic flow-wrappers currently available.

Its robust design offers exceptional reliability and overall performance. Simple to operate using a keyboard and colour monitor, the multi-axes, PC controlled machine can store up to 64 production programs and has no-product/no-bag and misplaced product detection facilities as standard.

Ilapak also has a full range of inverted flow-wrappers in its Delta 500, 2000 and 3000 models which were developed in response to demand from the cheese and bakery markets.

Another recent addition to the Ilapak range is the pioneering VacMaptm flow-wrapper which is the only horizontal, form, fill and seal machine on the market .

The VacMaptm can produce attractive, long-life packs at high speeds, efficiently and at a significantly lower cost than using a thermo-forming machine.

Consumers' demand for better pack presentation prompted the move to design this completely new type of packaging machine which is the result of a joint development programme between Ilapak and a major tortilla producer.
