UCPlimited.com is tailored specifically
to the wine and spirits community providing
customers regular updates and access to useful
resources. The website was developed in conjunction
with the launch of GCS.com, which provides
a corporate, global overview of GCS and the
six GCS Group companies.
"We developed the site by looking at how
our customers use the Internet and how UCP
could better meet their needs as a packaging
partner," said Fiona Reith, Key Account
Director, UCP. "That means providing tools
they need to make informed decisions about
our products, as well as easier access to UCP
team members who can help them achieve their
objectives. In short, the site is a service
tool first and a marketing tool second."
The site allows direct email access to
key UCP specialists for faster response to
current and potential customer inquiries
on a range of issues, including technical
service, packaging and closure developments,
quality control, innovation, and supply chain
management.
"Through research and customer feedback,
we identified their need to be informed about
new developments in UCP's role as an expert
packaging resource," said Reith. "We
created a site that would ultimately connect
people, which reflects a long-held strategy
that dates back well before the Internet."
In addition to improved search capabilities,
an online pressroom and a downloadable version
of the GCS quarterly newsletter DisClosure
are now accessible on ucplimited.com. This
provides media and current and potential
customers with comprehensive information
about the GCS Group's product range and capabilities.
