Sidey

For over 75 years, Sidey has been exceeding its customers’ expectations, and this has resulted in a level of demand that has fuelled constant and ongoing growth within the company.

Indeed, as we go to press, Sidey is investing in two further manufacturing sites in its hometown of Perth, allowing it to produce a larger number of products and to develop new concepts and ideas.

The largest PVCu window and door manufacturer in Scotland, Sidey has always been known for its forward thinking, with a commitment to continually improve upon what has always been recognised as an excellent service. And in 2008 the company will underline this by introducing several new products, including the revolutionary Sidey Scratchgard System.

Glazed units usually arrive on the building site protected only by heavy-duty cling film, which is a recipe for disaster! In fact, many units get irreversibly damaged, costing the developer in terms of both money and time. The Sidey Scratchgard System, however, is a full-spray protection that works exceptionally well as a factory applied product. It is water-based, which means that it is extremely environmentally friendly, and protects against Scotland’s severe weather conditions – furthermore when the house has been finished, it merely peels off, cleaning the glass in the process!

The Sidey Scratchgard System has the potential to save the industry millions of pounds in replacement units, and will be widely available in the very near future.

Sidey is launching a number of other innovative products, including an exciting new system that allows pre-fitted windows within timber kits to be put together prior to arrival on site. Again, this will stop excessive damage during transport, allowing the windows to be transported within the envelope of the timber kit.

Winning much of its work through repeat business and recommendation, Sidey serves discerning customers throughout Scotland and, in partnership with WHS Halo/System 10, is providing one of the best PVCu window and door systems available. In fact, a high specification system designed for its adaptability across all sectors, System 10 is one of the most widely specified systems on the market.

So no matter what's going on around you, or how big your challenge, you can rely upon Sidey. To find out more telephone 01738 634803. Alternatively, visit www.sidey.co.uk.
