Urban Regen Limited

Building relationships by exceeding expectations, Urban Regen has built a solid reputation for market excellence and, with a client focused approach to brownfield
re-development and remediation, provides high quality, innovative solutions for discerning clients.

Established in 2001 and formerly trading as Whitefield Brownfield Limited, Urban Regen was re-branded in 2006 and is committed to strong teamwork and the achievement of added value for its clients. Indeed, the company strives to ensure delivery of sites to the highest quality of workmanship and client satisfaction.

This is achieved in a number of ways, not least by Urban Regen’s fixed price ethos and a co-operative approach that allows it to develop close working relationships with clients who enjoy the company’s ‘one point of contact’ philosophy. The ultimate aim is to provide clients with a cost-effective programme that promotes early commencement of work, with Urban Regen’s advance involvement having enabled many developers to tailor design to mitigate abnormal development costs, saving both time and money.

It will come as little surprise, therefore, to discover that Urban Regen’s client-base has grown impressively over the last couple of years, fuelled by strong levels of repeat business. At the present time the company is engaged on the high profile demolition and remediation of Withington Hospital in Manchester, for Barratt Homes and Taylor Wimpey Homes. This is a scheme that involves extensive interface issues with the existing health trust, various utility companies, third party builders operating on the same development, Manchester City Council Environmental Health Department, and the general public. In fact, the works were even phased to allow a TV production team to carry out filming for a one-off drama within one of the buildings to be demolished!

The scope of works being carried out at Withington Hospital includes, demolition and asbestos removal, general re-engineering and remediation of the underlying ground to achieve a cost effective foundation solution, advanced preparation for site infrastructure works, gas and groundwater monitoring, full geotechnical testing, with full validation reporting to suit.

Operating from the Scottish Borders down to the Midlands, Urban Regen offer the complete package; a one-stop-shop, in a sector where legislation is continually changing, providing a very welcome proposition for the company’s ever-growing client base. To find out more telephone 01204 595933.
