Firecheck Systems Limited

Expansion Fuelled
by Superior Workmanship...

Firecheck Systems has been providing a broad portfolio of specialist services since 1992. Yet with new owners taking the reigns in August 2006, a new sales team, two extra contract managers and a new vision, this innovative West Yorkshire-based firm is proving all over again that when it comes to quality, fair pricing and unrivalled customer service, they just can’t be beaten.

Having grown significantly since it first opened for business 15 years ago, Firecheck Systems has continued to expand over the past year, offering additional services to both existing and new customers. Indeed, in April alone the company brought in £500,000 worth of new business, and is now receiving around 100 enquiries a month.
The reasons for this are clear: not only does Firecheck Systems offer professional, cost-effective solutions, it also offers a portfolio of expertise that encompasses a wide range of products and disciplines. As the name suggests they are experts in the field of structural and passive fireprotection but also in the ancillary trades including the construction and erection of stud partitioning, dry-lining, suspended and MF ceiling systems, manufactured by British Gypsum, Knauf, Armstrong, Owa and Ecophon. Firecheck Systems is an approved total quality national applicator of Nullifire, Ameron, and other major manufacturers of paint products, and will apply intumescent fire protection coatings that have been tested and give up to two hours protection when applied to structural steel. They also supply and fix the most comprehensive range of passive fire protection products including fire barriers and fire stopping materials manufactured by amongst others; British Gypsum, Cape, Promat and Rockwool.
The company also regularly undertake the erection of firewalls, giving up to a four hour fire rating, manufactured by companies such as Paroc and Ranilla.
It will come as no surprise therefore to discover that Firecheck Systems is sought out by some of the most demanding and quality conscious organisations around. Recent successfully completed projects, for instance, include work for Marshall Construction, Retail Development in Llandudno, Sir Robert McAlpine at Kingsgate in Huddersfield, and Bowmer & Kirkland at a new Next distribution warehouse in Rotherham, prestigiously the largest warehouse of its kind in Europe. And as we go to press, Firecheck Systems is hard at work on new student accommodation at York University, a prison extension at Garth, and the Grosvenor Hotel in Chester, where it is completely refurbishing the function suite.
